I do believe the main element whenever you achieve item market fit is filling the functions in your technical company with more powerful leaders than you, and stepping away from those administration roles. Plus, you are able to study on and partner with your individuals.
If you are a technical CTO, and desire to code significantly more than manage/build a group, then hire/promote a VP of Engineering with strong soft abilities to grow/manage your team. If its the opposite, hire/promote a VP of Engineering who is theoretically stronger.
If you should be constantly being taken into engineering battles, hire/promote a designer you respect to negotiate.
If you should be running engineering conferences (ipm’s, retros, etc), hire/promote a SCRUM equivalent or master.
If you are battling product sales, operations or marketing, employ a Director of Product Management with solid interaction abilities. That individual will ‘fight’ your battles (and probably like it!).
